Google Ads

Turn content pieces into real Google ads: the engine writes policy-clean ad copy in your brand voice, you set the budget and flight dates, and Reactor launches the ad in your own Google Ads account. Spend and performance land on the Analytics → Ads tab.

How it works

An ad is a content piece like any other. Add a Google Ads piece to a project (or create one from Content), and the engine generates a full Responsive Search Ad spec: up to 15 headlines, 4 descriptions, display paths, and keyword themes, all validated against Google's hard character limits and editorial policies before you ever see them.

The ad editor shows live character counters, a search preview, and keyword suggestions grounded in real search volume. The Anti-Slop Guard applies, plus a Google-policy layer that catches the things Google disapproves (exclamation marks in headlines, all-caps words, unverifiable superlatives).

Launching

Launching needs three things: a connected ad account, a daily budget, and a start date. The Launch confirmation echoes all of it, including the estimated total for the flight. On launch, Reactor creates a dedicated project in your Google Ads account (one project per ad, so the budget you set is exactly that ad's budget), and Google reviews the ad, usually within a business day. You get a notification when it goes live or if Google disapproves it, with the policy topics named.

While an ad runs you can pause, resume, or end it from the ad editor. Ending an ad removes its project permanently.

What Reactor never does

  • Reactor never touches projects it didn't create. Your existing Google Ads setup is invisible to it.
  • Nothing automated ever spends: no schedule, automation rule, or AI assistant can launch an ad or raise a budget. Launching is always a human with a manager role confirming a number.
  • Spend bills to your own Google Ads account and payment method. Reactor sets budgets; Google bills you.

Budgets and guardrails

  • Budgets are daily, in your ad account's currency. Google may spend up to 2× the daily budget on a single day but keeps the monthly total within ~30.4× daily.
  • Flights default to 30 days. Open-ended flights are an explicit choice and are flagged in the editor.
  • A workspace guardrail caps the daily budget per ad (500 by default; your operator can change it).
  • Budget, flight, account, and launch controls need a manager role. Anyone who can edit content can draft the copy.

Media ads

Beyond search ads, a Google Ads piece can be a media ad (Google's Demand Gen format, serving on YouTube, Discover, and Gmail). Create ad-sized creative in Media Studio under the Ad image type (landscape 1.91:1, square 1:1, plus a logo), attach it in the ad editor, and set the long headline and business name. For video ads, pick a gallery video and use Prepare for ads: it uploads unlisted to your connected YouTube channel, which is where Google requires ad video to live.

Analytics

The Analytics → Ads tab shows spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, average CPC, and conversions per ad and per day, with project attribution. Ad landing URLs are UTM-tagged automatically (utm_source=google, utm_medium=cpc), so paid sessions also show up in your web analytics, funnels, and goals. Google's own per-headline quality ratings feed back into the engine, so the copy it writes next time leans on what live auctions already proved.
